January   MiNELL – Minett Natur an Ëmwelt Léier Lab Launch of our major environmental education programme in the Minett UNESCO Biosphere, in collaboration with FNR and LISER.

 

February   Minett Mash-Up – De Podcast The Minett UNESCO Biosphere travelling podcast together with ik-CNCI and MUAR. The second season is coming in 2023!

 

March   The song of the woodlark In March, the secret star of our biosphere reserve was the focus of attention. Together with Jan Herr (ANF) interested people embarked on a search for the rare bird..

 

April   Minett Beyouthsphere Youth Forum 15 young people participated in the first Minett UNESCO Biosphere Youth Forum, identifying envrionmental problems and working out solutions.

 

May   Tutti Frutti An online map op 74 freely accessible orchard, on the territory of the Minett UNESCO Biosphere, where anyone is welcome to pick fruit for free, was published.

 

June   D’Deeg vun der Biodiversitéit 3 biodiversity days took place in Ellergronn: one day for local companies, one day for school children and one family day.

 

July   Rocklines – Publication of the travel journal With „Rocklines“, the first geopoetic travel journal of the Minett, written by Davide Sapienza and Robert Weis, has been presented at the ‘naturmusée‘.

 

August   Mmmh… Minett! The Minetter Schof, the biodiversity safeguards of our biosphere reserve, were introduced to the market as the first product of the new  “Mmmh… Minett!“ brand.

 

September   Au Goût du Terroir For a weekend, more than 50 local producers presented their products to consumers at the market „Au Goût du Terroir“ in Käerjeng.

 

October   Kenns du de Minett? Publication of a board game, developped together with Esch2022 and magicmultimedia. A geoquiz for the “Minettsdäpp” and those, that want to discover our region.

 

November   Discover the Minett On the first international Day for Biosphere Reserves, the promotional video of the Minett UNESCO Biosphere had its official premiere.

 

December   De-icing salt alternatives Major online campaign to show Minett UNESCO Biosphere residents alternatives to using conventional de-icing salt.
