MiNELL – MINETT NATUR A ËMWELT LÉIER LABORATOIRE
MiNELL (Minett Natur an Ëmwelt Léier Lab) is a NaturLab, through which we will address the protection of biodiversity and the promotion of natural sciences via an interactive activity programme, for the general public and schools.
The NaturLab will involve many stakeholders around sustainable education in Luxembourg: local schools, natural science experts, collaboration with SCRIPT‘s Fuerschen dobaussen (FUDO) project, UpFoundation‘s Bildungslandschaften programme, the Nature and Forest Agency (ANF) and the ‘naturmusée’ (MNHN).
Our priorities are:
– Networking the actors in the region involved in the promotion of environmental education (unite);
– To promote environmental education among educators and the public, and to offer them the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to protect and improve the environment (train);
– Encourage citizens, through a series of activities, to build new relationships and behaviours towards the natural heritage of the biosphere reserve (infuse).
MiNELL will develop with the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) a digital activity passport in order to collect user feedback on their learning experiences and evaluate the impact of our activities.
Starting now, you have the opportunity to register for MiNELL interactive nature and science workshops organized by the Minett UNESCO Biosphere and its partners:
