Animations throughout the day
A day full of adventure in the middle of nature
The miniature farm welcomes us in the morning so that we can fully immerse ourselves in the world of animals. During the day, craft activities and nature experiences alternate harmoniously. In the craft workshops, everyone can give free rein to their creativity by drying and working wild wood, making handmade torches or learning how to weave ropes.
Discovering the world of bees reveals the secrets of these valuable pollinators. Adventurers can take on exciting challenges such as axe throwing, archery or a ride on a Segway.
Outdoor cooking has a special place when it comes to baking bread on a stick, offering an authentic flavour experience or learning which plants in our forests are edible. Nature games liven up the day and offer the opportunity to discover and learn through play.
Highlights of the day:
The ‘Grénge Mann’ is the spirit and guardian of the forest. He tells of the legends, myths and secrets of nature. He explains the properties and healing powers of different trees and plants. An activity for adults and children who are interested in nature, wild plants and herbs.
‘Aqua-Wass’ is an interactive and educational show about water, the vital element of our planet. In an original and surprising production, Professor Aqua-Wass deals with important topics such as the water cycle, its importance for living creatures, water pollution and water consumption in a humorous and educational way.
At the ‘De Bësch schmaachen’ stand, you can learn how to identify certain wild plants and use them in the kitchen. A practical cooking course will take place every two hours. Registration on the spot.
Enjoy the performances of three different bands. The ‘Louisiana Dixie Band’ plays from 11.30, the ‘Réidener Juegdbléiser’ parades through the Ellergronn from 11.45 and in the afternoon you can enjoy the songs of ‘La Trotteuse’.
