BeYouthSphere
Youth exchanges
lasting from one week to a whole term
BeYouthSphere-LéierLabs can last from one week to a whole school term, depending on the form they take. For example, a forum between several classes could last a week, while an exchange between two classes could last a whole school term.
In the course of such an exchange, the children and young people, accompanied by experts, discover a pre-defined space (e.g. a nature reserve or the surroundings of the school). The children and young people will then have the opportunity to share what they have learned, discuss the problems they have encountered and look for practical solutions. These solutions can then be disseminated and/or implemented to improve the environment.
Thanks to the international and national network of UNESCO schools and UNESCO Biosphere Reserves, these exchanges are facilitated and expand the opportunities for cooperation and learning between different school communities.
