Kulturfabrik celebrates its 40 + 1 years! Find out about all the events taking place during our anniversary month here.
On the occasion of its 41st anniversary, the Kulturfabrik invites you to an evening that highlights the mythical foundation of the Kufa and the founding myths derived from its history. The evening will include a guided tour of the Cie Bande Passante installation and the screening of Eddi Van Tsui Company’s docufiction film, two creations specially made for the Kulturfabrik’s anniversary, followed by a round table on the theme: «Fiction, friction, self-deprecation: 41 years of real facts and imaginary».

At 8:00 pm, the docufiction film of the company Eddi Van Tsui will be shown at Kinosch, a film based on videos and photos of the last 41 years of the Kulturfabrik, and interviews with the historian Mohamed Hamdi. The artists of the company Eddi Van Tsui have diverted these historical facts to propose an alternative narrative.

Round table moderated by Michel Delage, journalist on radio 100.7. Participants include Sandy Flinto of the company Eddi Van Tsui, Tommy Laszlo of the company Bande Passante and Mohamed Hamdi, a historian working on a historical book on the Kulturfabrik. Discussions will focus on the themes addressed in the artistic works, offering an academic and artistic perspective on the creation of cultural identity and the preservation of archives.
