Make your beats for the Hip Hop Marathon!

You like hip hop and rap music? Do you want to produce your own hip hop beat and learn to make your own music on the computer?
In this workshop you will learn about digital instruments and how to put sounds together to create your own hip hop beat. Together with producer and rapper Luka Tonnar (luk.), you will build tracks that will be used for the Hip Hop Marathon project as instrumentals on which the rappers will lay their vocal parts.

You don't play an instrument? No problem. All you need is your motivation and curiosity to play with rhythm and sound.

What is beatmaking?
Beatmaking is the craft of composing sounds, rhythms and melodies into a "beat". The beat is the music (without rap or vocal parts) of a hip-hop song and is usually produced on a computer.
