XD — A Collective Exhibition-Experience by DKollektiv

On October 3, 7, and 10, 2026, VEWA hosts XD, a collective exhibition-experience conceived by DKollektiv. It celebrates a decade of independent cultural activity.

Ten years already. Since its creation, DKollektiv has been fostering an independent cultural scene in Dudelange and beyond. The collective is driven by a desire to create, experiment, and share. To mark this anniversary, it invites the public to journey through time.

XD, an exhibition between memory and anticipation

With XD, DKollektiv offers a living space, constantly evolving. The collective's past meets its possible futures. Through archives, artworks, installations, and encounters, the exhibition reinvents itself over the three dates: it is thus never quite the same from one event to the next.

Saturday, October 3 — Opening Reception

5:00 PM — Doors Open

6:30 PM — Op e Patt: “Organized Chaos: Collective Intelligence Put to the Test of Reality.” This roundtable discussion brings together various collectives from across the country.

Invited Collectives

Independent Little Lies (ILL)

An interdisciplinary theater collective founded in 1995 in Esch-sur-Alzette. ILL blends theater, performance, and other artistic practices to address contemporary social and political issues.

Kollibri

A cultural association that notably organizes the Koll an Aktioun festival. The collective champions an inclusive, sustainable, and intergenerational approach to culture, fostering encounters, volunteer work, environmental awareness, and artistic exchange.

Richtung22

Founded in 2010, this collective explores the political, social, and cultural challenges facing Luxembourg. Its aim is to make art more accessible and critical.

Kréiennascht

A Luxembourgish artistic collective and cultural association that promotes alternative art, music, and local artists.

FerroForum

Located in the former central workshop of the Esch-Schifflange steelworks, FerroForum works to preserve and transmit the workers' history and the skills related to iron and steel. The non-profit organization also hosts workshops, artistic creations, exhibitions, conferences, and participatory events.

The evening will conclude with a friendly gathering and light refreshments.
