Become a geopoet

As part of our project ‘Rocklines – A journey through Minett, the sea of red rocks‘, through which we will create an alternative travel guide for the Minett Trail, we are offering two special events. At these workshops you can get an introduction to the field of geopoetics. You can talk to the two geopoets Davide Sapienza and Robert Weis and discover two of the core areas of the Minett UNESCO Biosphere in a different way.

On Sunday 18 July at 11:00, we cordially invite you to a geopoetic hike that will take you through the extraordinary landscape of the Minett UNESCO Biosphere.

Experience the core zone “Brucherbierg-Lallengerbierg” from the perspective of geopoetics, to which Davide Sapienza and Robert Weis will introduce you. After the approximately one-hour walk, we invite you to a brunch with local products in the nature of the biosphere reserve.

The geopoetic explanations during the hike are in English. The number of participants is limited. All protective measures related to the current health situation will be respected at all times.

The core area “Léiffrächen” of the Minett UNESCO Biosphere is characterised by its landscape and natural richness.

On Tuesday, 27 July at 19:30, we offer you the opportunity to discover geopoetics in this unique environment. Enjoy an introduction to this scientific and literary discipline by the Italian author Davide Sapienza and the Luxemburgish geologist Robert Weis and experience the sunset in the setting of the “Léiffrächen”.

The geopoetic walk lasts a little over an hour and ends with a discussion of the impressions gained and a drink.

Due to the current health situation, places for this “Geopoetic Sunset Walk”, which is in English, are limited. Participation is free. All you need to do is register in advance via this inscription form.
