In May 2019, when Anouk Boever-Thill’s presidency began, the main lines of the application project for the UNESCO “Man and the Biosphere” label were defined and PRO-SUD obtained its label on 28 October 2020. Anouk Boever-Thill and her team set up the first action plan for the Minett UNESCO Biosphere. The syndicate is committed to three new axes: the promotion of local products, regional communication for the general public and environmental education, especially for young people. |
PRO-SUD had already started to work with schools with the support of the FNR (Luxembourg National Research Fund) and this continues with the promotion of natural sciences and the protection of biodiversity with both the general public and the school public. “We are all part of this magnificent biosphere, it is up to us to make it live”, Anouk Boever-Thill stated.
