NEST Spring Market

The NEST Markets are festive evenings to celebrate the arrival of a new season.

People come to do their shopping differently, to meet up, share a drink, and discover a performance.

Because with every change of season, a new cycle begins — and it’s the perfect opportunity to nourish the body… and the mind.

On March 21, come celebrate the spring equinox with a giant outdoor cine-concert! You’ll also meet Thierry Combe and Martine Waniowski, the Markets’ thread (recurring) artists.

At the market, meet many cross-border producers.

Program:

17:00-22:00 – Producer’s market

17:15 – Imaginarium# 3 Le poème de Fernando, Éric Pessan, Martine Waniowski

One morning, Fernando finds a crumpled poem, sad and tired, a bit like him. Carried by cello, clarinet and electro music, and stretched out in deckchairs, the audience is gently immersed in this four-voice story.

17:45 – Visite Sensible, Thierry Combe

Fed by testimonies and encounters with local residents, Thierry Combe offers a sensitive visit. As if casually, he tackles serious and delicate issues with humor and mischief, through the prism of particular life paths.

19:00 – TRICOTAGEs, Thierry Combe et Martine Waniowski

A suspended moment where children and adults share words and emotions, exploring anger — set down and then revisited over time, in spring, collectively.

20:30 _ Fantôme, collectif La Méandre

In a world where the poorest are exploited to produce energy, young Fantôme unintentionally triggers a revealing incident. This open-air cine-concert, where musicians accompany an animated film live, holds an unexpected “poetic uprising.” Because here, fiction will spill over into reality when accomplices become characters in the story!

Event presented by NEST, Centre Dramatique National transfrontalier de Thionville Grand-Est, as part of the eLo project, supported by the City of Esch-sur-Alzette, the Communauté de Communes Pays Haut Val d’Alzette, the Minett UNESCO Biosphere and the Interreg Functional Area program of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) Alzette-Belval.
