The Minett Trail Takes Centre Stage at the European Parliament

A proud moment for regenerative tourism in the heart of Europe

From 26–30 January 2026, the halls of the European Parliament in Brussels played host to an extraordinary celebration of tourism done right. The exhibition “Tourism for Europe, Europe for Tourism”—organised by the European Travel Commission and co-hosted by MEP Daniel Attard (S&D) and MEP Nikolina Brnjac (EPP)—brought together 35 exemplary initiatives from across the continent, each demonstrating how tourism can serve as a genuine force for good.

We are honoured to announce that our project, “De Minett Trail a seng Kabaisercher,” was selected to represent Luxembourg among these inspiring best practices.

More Than an Exhibition—A Vision for Europe’s Future

This gathering was not merely a showcase. It was a statement of intent. The 35 projects on display share a common thread: the belief that tourism can do more than generate revenue. It can restore ecosystems, preserve cultural heritage, strengthen local economies, and empower the communities it touches.

Our initiative stands firmly within this vision. Through regenerative tourism principles, we are working to uplift communities, safeguard culture, and foster inclusion—ensuring that the benefits of tourism flow directly to the people and places that make it possible.

Building Resilient Destinations, One Step at a Time

Tourism, at its best, goes far beyond economic metrics. It creates meaningful employment, supports small and medium-sized enterprises, and builds resilient rural livelihoods that can weather uncertainty. These are the outcomes we strive for—and the outcomes Europe increasingly demands from its tourism sector.

To see our work recognised at the very heart of European democracy is both a privilege and a responsibility. It reaffirms our commitment to a tourism model that helps Europe not just recover but truly flourish.
