What if your students could learn while having fun? Renowned for its exceptional landscapes and unique industrial heritage, the Minett Biosphere is offering two outdoor escape games designed for young people aged 10 to 14. This fun, educational activity is ideal for primary school teachers, youth centre leaders and after-school programme educators.
Games are available at any time!
Each team of ten young participants receives a backpack containing everything needed for the game, and can then set off on an adventure involving challenges, teamwork, and learning about biodiversity, geology, and industrial history in the Giele Botter or Haard nature reserves.
Two captivating adventures in the heart of the Minett Biosphere!
- Giele Botter – Die Zeitreisenden: Join Louise, Max, and their dog on a time-travel journey through the Giele Botter nature reserve.
- Haard – Die Rebellion der Nymphen: Immerse yourself in an environmental mission with five teenagers to restore the natural balance of the Haard nature reserve.

Why choose escape games?
Not only are these games entertaining, they also serve as a robust educational tool.
- They raise awareness of nature conservation.
- They also develop teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- They perfectly combine learning with fun.
How do they work?
The escape games take place over 2–3 km trails and last 4 hours. Suitable for ages 10 and up, they bring together teams of eight to ten participants under the supervision of a facilitator. Equipped with instructions and solutions, animators or teachers ensure the activity runs smoothly from start to finish.
