During 20 years working for socio-cultural, environmental, and humanitarian NGOs, Jérémie PICHON came to the sad realization that our system is based on overconsumption, which is devastating for humans and the environment.
In 2014, they decided to take on the Zero Waste challenge as a family. In three years, they went from producing 390 kg of waste to 1 kg, or one jar per year, and above all discovered a new way of life. They wrote a book about it, Famille “presque” Zéro Déchet “Ze Guide” (Almost Zero Waste Family: The Guide), illustrated by his wife Bénédicte MORET.
.During his talk, Jérémie PICHON humorously recounts how they embarked on their adventure. Above all, he describes the enormous and unexpected benefits they have gained from such a change. By eliminating their trash, they are ultimately challenging the system and creating a sustainable, simple, and happy way of life.
