From tomorrow, Friday, through Sunday evening, the 3 Nature Parks of Luxembourg (Our, Öewersauer and Mëllerdall), in collaboration with the Municipality of Käerjeng and the Minett UNESCO Biosphere, are organising the festival “Au Goût du Terroir” in Bascharage.
The festival will take place at two venues. One part will be at the Käerjenger Treff, the other part at the brewery. The two locations will be connected by a shuttle service throughout the weekend. Furthermore, this shuttle will head for two reception car parks, where you can park all weekend long without any problems.
In addition to the shuttles, all the RGTR and TICE lines will operate at their usual frequency, providing good connections to bring visitors to the “Au Goût du Terroir” festival by public transportation.
REGIONAL EXHIBITORS
Producers from the region and the rest of the Grand Duchy represent the majority of exhibitors and of course bring their fresh products to the festival. Throughout the weekend, fruit and vegetables, cheese and meat and a variety of other products made from natural ingredients can be tasted and enjoyed.
In the Käerjenger Treff and the brewery, a total of 72 market stands will be waiting for visitors. A detailed map can be found here.
INTERNATIONAL PRODUCERS
Besides the national exhibitors, some producers from other countries will also show and sell their products.
These producers come from our three neighbouring countries, Belgium, Germany and France, but also from nature parks and model regions from Spain, Italy and Poland.
WORKSHOPS
In addition to the producers exhibiting their goods, 27 different workshops will be offered throughout the weekend. The animation programme includes show cooking and tasting, as well as storytelling workshops for children and workshops that teach concrete measures to prevent food waste.
Enrolment in the various workshops will remain possible until shortly before the workshops begin. The complete list of all events in the supporting programme is also available on the official festival site.
