Join us on 17 December 2025 for an exceptional day dedicated to sustainable mobility in Luxembourg. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the Gäert Matgesfeld and the Salle A Gadder (10 rue de France, Belvaux) will host an Expert-Citizens’ Forum focused on an innovative project: the creation of an inter-municipal center for Intermediate Light Vehicles (ILV). This venue aims to centralize production, repair, training, social leasing, and citizen research on these eco-friendly transport solutions.
Event goal: Co-create a concrete proposal for this center, bringing together citizens, experts, and local stakeholders in a spirit of collective intelligence. Entry is free, and a DIY pizza activity will add to this day of discussion and reflection.
Programme:
- 10 a.m.–5 p.m.: Test ride a Karbike (registration required) at Gäert Matgesfeld (2 Matgeswee, Belvaux). Try out these innovative vehicles for yourself!
- 5:30–9 p.m.: Forum at Salle A Gadder featuring a welcome speech by Mike Lorang (Alderman of the municipality of Sanem), a teaser of the documentary “Strasbourg → Luxembourg by Karbike” with user testimonials, a citizen round table with experts, a participatory workshop based on consent decision-making, and open discussions in a friendly atmosphere.
