La famille presque zéro déchets
Lecture in the framework of the Interreg-project ACTE
Date(s)
During 20 years spent working for sociocultural, environmental, and humanitarian NGOs, Jérémie PICHON made the sad observation of a system based on overconsumption, devastating for both people and the environment.
In 2014, they decided to embark as a family on a Zero Waste challenge. In three years, they went from 390 kg of waste to 1 kg—a single jar per year—and above all discovered a new way of life. They wrote a book about it, Family "Almost" Zero Waste "The Guide", illustrated by his wife Bénédicte MORET.
During his talk, Jérémie PICHON tells us with humor how they embarked on their adventure. Above all, he describes the enormous and unexpected benefits they gained from such a change. Because by eliminating their trash bin, they ultimately challenge the system and outline a sustainable, simple, and happy way of life.
Lecture in French. Questions and discussion.
