Konschthal Groovy Thursdays

In the framework of the Project Room REGNO AMICALE by Letizia Romanini

Date(s)

28/08/2025 16:00 - 20:00

Once again this summer, the Konschthal is putting artists in the spotlight with four Groovy Thursdays evenings. Join us on four Thursdays to enjoy art, music, and a festive atmosphere.

Each of these Thursdays will be dedicated to one of the exhibiting artists – Julien Hübsch, Jeremy Palluce, Claudia Passeri, and Letizia Romanini – with a diverse cultural program specially designed around their artistic universe and the works they are presenting.

On the agenda: guided tours with multiple perspectives, performances, music, multidisciplinary workshops – all in a relaxed and summery vibe. It's the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the exhibitions by night, between 6pm and 10pm.

Program

5pm - 8pm: workshop – Terrarium d’Amour

By artist Marta Mo

By registration only: https://ypl.me/BVA

Discover local nature and create a small terrarium!

This workshop offers an immersive experience in nature to discover and understand local ecosystems. It combines a nature walk with a terrarium-building activity, providing a scientific, artistic, and sensory approach. It aims to raise awareness of local biodiversity, teach about ecological interactions, and encourage respectful attitudes towards our environment.

We will take a two-hour walk to observe and identify local plants, mosses, and geology, question their origins and interdependence with the environment, and collect specimens responsibly. This develops a more conscious and loving approach to our territory.

Back at Konschthal, we will create a terrarium in a small jar using our finds (1 hour). A creative, meticulous, and deeply therapeutic activity: the beauty of creating a miniature living world.

Practical info:

→ Starting point will be communicated upon registration

→ Workshop is intergenerational, families welcome! (from 8 years with accompaniment)

→ Please bring a container to collect your treasures and weather-appropriate clothing

6pm - 9pm: drop-in workshop - draw to see better! Special edition Letizia Romanini

No drawing skills required to join this playful activity throughout the exhibition.

Join a small rallye sharpening your observation through drawing exercises related to Letizia Romanini’s work: drawing in 10 seconds, observing, turning around, drawing from memory, drawing without lifting the pencil, or even without looking at the paper, and many more. An original way to explore the works differently, while having fun.

8:00pm – 8:45pm: guided tour – A Three-Voice Visit

Discover Regno Amicale, Letizia Romanini’s immersive installation, through a 45-minute tour where art, science, and nature meet.

Three guests – three perspectives: Letizia Romanini, Thierry Helminger, Marta Mo

Artist Letizia Romanini personally guides through her exhibition, sharing her photographic research on ecological resilience in the mining basin, revealing the artistic, conceptual, and technical dimensions of her installation.

Scientist Thierry Helminger from the National Museum of Natural History offers a scientific perspective on the plants and rock formations presented, placing them in their ecological context. What do these natural elements tell us about our environment and its changes?

Artist Marta Mo, whose practice relies on natural elements, enriches the tour with a poetic and sensitive view. She invites us to reconsider our relationship to living things, plants, and space.

Through this interdisciplinary tour, a dialogue unfolds between disciplines, revealing new readings of the exhibition and prompting reflection on our relationship to nature.

Recommended for art and nature lovers, students, and anyone curious about new perspectives.

6pm – 10pm: Letizia Romanini playlist

On the occasion of her exhibition at Konschthal, Letizia Romanini offers a playlist specially curated for the evening.

Let yourself be carried by the artist’s sonic universe and experience a musical immersion in resonance with her work.
