The former opencast mining area of Prënzebierg/Giele Botter is now one of the core zones of the Minett UNESCO Biosphere.
.This man-made terraced landscape provides an ideal setting in which to explore the formation of minette, the iron ore that has played a significant role in our country's prosperity.
