À la découverte des champignons – Pilze entdecken (1/3)
IFEN-Training: D2-b-04 organised by the MiNELL - NaturLab
Date(s)
Fungi (or fungi) are a vast group of organisms that far outnumber plants. From the recycling of organic matter to the food we eat, their role is vital to life on earth. Still little-known and sometimes feared, they are also a source of wonder, with their diversity of shapes, textures and colours.
The aim of this workshop is to awaken an interest in the fungi that we come into contact with in our environment, often without realising it, while their habitats are already under threat.
This workshop takes place in the Minett Unesco Biosphere Reserve, which, as a member of UNESCO's "Man and the Biosphere" programme, promotes biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in the Minette region.
Target audience: Teachers or educational staff in basic education - Cycle 2-4
Programme:
Basics of mycology: definition and characteristics of the fungal kingdom; lifestyles, substrates, habitats; morphological diversity; ecosystem functions
Overview of the defining characteristics of the most common groups and species
Documentary resources
Note: Bring clothing and footwear suitable for walking in woodland and weather conditions. Knowing how to recognise common trees and shrubs in the region is an advantage.
